Officers of Lanchkhuti Police Division of Guria Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs have detained 3 persons on charges of illegal crossing of the Georgian state border committed in group.

The investigation established that citizens of the Republic of Turkey, S.I., born in 1983, K.K., born in 2006, and S.K., born in 1986, illegally crossed the Georgian state border from the Republic of Turkey to Georgia as a group, bypassing the official border crossing point.

The investigation is underway under Article 344, part II the Criminal Code of Georgia, which

Envisions the imprisonment for a term of up to 5 years.
