Officers of Vake-Saburtalo Police Main Division of Tbilisi Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested T.K., born in 1999, with a previous conviction, on charges of attempted murder.

The investigation established that the accused person, on the basis of a mutual dispute, shot A.T., born in 1986, with a firearm and fled the scene.

The wounded man was taken to the hospital, where he received appropriate medical assistance.

As a result of the investigative actions carried out into the case, law enforcement officers detained T.K. as an accused person in Tskaltubo municipality.

The committed crime envisions up to 15 years of imprisonment. An investigation into the attempted murder is underway under Article 19-108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
