Minister of Justice of Georgia Paata Salia meets his Azerbaijani counterpart in Baku

Minister of Justice of Georgia Paata Salia held a bilateral meeting with the Minister of Justice of Azerbaijan Farid Ahmedov within the framework of the event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of Azerbaijan.

At the meeting held in Baku, the parties discussed the issues of cooperation between the two countries in the field of justice. Attention was focused on the areas of mutual legal assistance, protection of human rights and development of citizen-oriented public services.

Paata Salia introduced the priorities of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia to his Azerbaijani counterpart and invited him to the UN Public Services Forum, which Georgia will host in June 2026.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue fruitful cooperation.

As part of his official visit to Baku, Paata Salia, together with the conference participants, paid tribute to the memory of the national leader of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev.
