Eagle Hills, a company entering Georgia with an investment exceeding 6 billion USD, is making a clear declaration of trust in our country and a strong confirmation of the effectiveness of our economic policy, said Prime Minister of Georgia during the inauguration ceremony of Eagle Hills’ Georgia HQ.
He officially inaugurated the Eagle Hills Georgia HQ alongside Mohamed Alabbar, Founder of EMAAR Group and Eagle Hills, as well as Mariam Kvrivishvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
Irakli Kobakhidze expressed his gratitude to the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and to Mohamed Alabbar for the historic decision to make such a large-scale investment in Georgia.
“Eagle Hills - a world-class developer - is entering Georgia with an investment exceeding 6 billion USD. This is the largest foreign direct investment (FDI) in the history of independent Georgia. It is a prime example of how the stable, predictable, and business-friendly environment created by our government continues to attract international business leaders”, - noted the Prime Minister.
He highlighted the impressive scale of the project, noting that it entails the creation of completely new, modern urban ecosystems, which will generate thousands of new, high-paying jobs.
“A new green city is being built on 600 hectares in Krtsanisi District of Tbilisi - with more than 1 million square meters of residential and commercial complexes, hotels and recreational areas. In Batumi, on a 250-hectare former military site, a new jewel of the Black Sea coast is being created - a premium-class resort featuring top-tier tourism infrastructure.
Eagle Hills’ projects primarily mean thousands of high-paying jobs for our citizens - both during the construction and operation phases. This represents new opportunities for surrounding businesses and a powerful boost for the country’s economic growth. I am confident that this partnership will transform the urban landscapes of Tbilisi and Batumi, create new centers of attraction, and further strengthen Georgia’s status as a regional leader and the region"s main investment hub. Our government policy is to actively support such strategic investments - those that create jobs, strengthen the economy and reinforce Georgia’s position on the global investment map”, - emphasized the Prime Minister.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by members of Georgia’s executive and legislative authorities, as well as business representatives.
