Prime Minister of Georgia condemned specific foreign actors and diplomats for previously endorsing a rally aimed at overthrowing the constitutional order, while remaining silent on the violent events of the previous day.

He highlighted the duplicity of certain diplomats and foreign entities who openly backed the disruptive rally but have since gone quiet.

“Certain individuals, including foreigners and specific diplomats, are showing their true colors. I remind everyone once again that specific individuals, representatives of certain bodies, openly supported a rally whose declared goal was to overthrow the constitutional order.

I will take this opportunity to extend special thanks to each police officer. And I want to express particular gratitude to the injured police officers.

As you know, 15 police officers had to be taken to the hospital due to injuries sustained. Fortunately, their condition is stable, and the recovery process is underway. I want to extend special thanks to them and express particular support”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
