Hungary has once again stopped receiving Russian oil after Ukraine`s drone strikes targeted the Druzhba pipeline, according to Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó.

"Overnight, we received the news that the Druzhba oil pipeline on the Russia-Belarus border was subjected to repeated attacks – for the third time in a short period. Crude oil supplies to Hungary have been halted again", - he wrote.

As Szijjártó added, this was "another attack on Hungary`s energy security" and "another attempt to drag us into the war".

He promised to "continue supporting efforts to establish peace and defend national interests by all means".
