Parliamentary investigative commission summons Giorgi Gakharia over June 20 events

Former Prime Minister, leader of the "Gakharia for Georgia", Giorgi Gakharia, has been summoned to the parliamentary temporary investigative commission in connection with the June 20 events.

Chairperson of the Commission, Tea Tsulukiani, announced the decision at the a session.

"We have begun reviewing the 2012–2024 period. He has been invited, along with several other politicians who, in our view, have harmed the country in the past and continue to do so", - added Tsulukiani.
