Giorgi Bukhrashvili appointed as Head of Adjara Police Department

Giorgi Bukhrashvili has been appointed as the head of the Adjara Police Department. The Ministry of Internal Affairs [MIA] confirmed this information to “Kurieri”.

He replaced Grigol Beselia, who left the position today.

“Bukhrashvili’s appointment was made as part of a rotation. The rotational replacement of heads of departments in various divisions of the MIA is periodically implemented, which aims to further increase the effectiveness of police activities”, - explained the agency.
