We have consistently stated - and reiterate it once more - that Georgia wholeheartedly supports Ukraine`s sovereignty and territorial integrity. The aggression that Ukraine has endured over the past 3 years deeply affects us. Such a statement made today the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, commenting the situation in Ukraine.

"It is crucial to make maximum efforts to eliminate all threats to European security and to strive diligently for peace in the region. Peace is a choice without alternatives, serving as a foundation for further development in Europe and fostering economic and political cooperation.

It is vital to take proactive steps toward peace and to seek reconciliation rather than conflict and further escalation of the situation, which, unfortunately, is still unfolding in our ally Ukraine", - said Maka Botchorishvili.
