Prime Minister of Armenia highlighted the significance of economic projects and regional peace at the opening panel of the ongoing Silk Road Forum in Tbilisi.

"It is a great honour for me to participate for the second time in the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum. As its name suggests, this event has already become an important platform for government officials, private sector representatives, and international experts from different countries to share new ideas.

In November 2024, as a result of this platform, the peace project between Armenia and Azerbaijan was implemented, which effectively turned into a mechanism of support and received the backing of many international partners…

We need to develop regional and international transport and communication opportunities.

Transport route projects in the region are not competitive but rather complementary, further enhancing the potential of the South Caucasus. Based on Article 4 of the Washington Declaration, the opening of the Black Sea Railway will increase transport potential not only for Armenia but also for Georgia and Azerbaijan.

This peace dialogue between Armenia and Azerbaijan is a project that will normalise neighborhood relations and turn the South Caucasus into the most attractive corridor between East and West, bringing infrastructure growth and development to our countries.

This is the kind of relationship that Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan must nurture and turn into a shared asset to ensure lasting stability in our region… Ultimately, we have established a state of peace, prosperity, and development in the Caucasus. Peace has returned to our region, and it must now be filled with greater energy, more trade, greater well-being, and growth", - said Nikol Pashinyan.
