The Prime Minister of Georgia respond to the meeting of German Ambassador to the country, Peter Fischer, with Elene Khoshtaria [one of the opposition leaders], who has been on a hunger strike.

"We cannot be tolerant in any way towards the improper conduct being carried out by individual ambassadors. Meeting between the German Ambassador and Elene Khoshtaria breached the Vienna Convention on diplomatic relations and encouraged self-harm", - said Irakli Kobakhidze.

Peter Fischer visited Elene Khoshtaria, who launched a hunger strike outside the Parliament, on Rustaveli Avenue. She described the meeting as an "act of solidarity".
