According to the existing information, opposition “Ahali” party could split into two factions in the coming days, with one group aligned with Nika Melia and the other backing Nika Gvaramia.
The two sides are also reportedly at odds over control of the party’s brand, logo and electoral number.
The reported disagreement was allegedly sparked by Melia, who is currently in prison, becoming dissatisfied with Gvaramia and accusing him of deliberately undermining the party.
