US President Donald Trump is next meeting with Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, writes BBC.

On ending the war with Russia, Trump says he and Zelensky “talk about it a lot”, and that he also talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Trump says he and Zelensky will also talk about strikes inside Russia, which he says have been a “serious hit” on the country but have also been a “serious hit on the price of diesel”.

Turning to the UK, Trump adds that “the rhetoric” from Keir Starmer was “too tough”. He notes that he hasn't heard yet what Andy Burnham thinks, but tells Zelensky that he knows he's on his side.
