According to the Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, road surface restoration works will be carried out at the contractor company’s expense to eliminate local deformations detected at the bridge approaches on the km30–km42 section [Lot 3] of the Samtredia–Grigoleti highway.

"In order to perform the works safely and in compliance with technological requirements, traffic will be temporarily restricted in both directions on the aforementioned section from September 21 to September 25, 2026, inclusive.

During the restriction period, vehicles traveling in the Samtredia - Grigoleti direction will be diverted from the Lesa traffic interchange onto the Samtredia–Lanchkhuti–Grigoleti highway of international importance and will continue moving toward Grigoleti via the Khajalia traffic interchange and the Khajalia–Supsa road.

Vehicles traveling in the Grigoleti–Samtredia direction will move along the same route in the reverse direction", - says the agency.
