A small private aircraft that took off from Batumi has made an emergency landing in the sea off the coast of Türkiye, Turkish media reports.

The private aircraft, which had two Belgian men on board, was flying from Batumi toward Ordu-Giresun Airport when it made an emergency landing in the sea off the coast of Rize Province due to a technical malfunction.

Rescuers managed to save both individuals. Their health is not in danger.
