Another meeting of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism has begun in Ergneti

Another meeting within the framework of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism [IPRM] has begun in Ergneti. The main topics will be human rights violations, illegal “borderization”, and changes to the traffic schedule at crossings along the occupation line.

During the reporting period, all cases of illegal detention of citizens along the occupation line ended in release. 4 cases of illegal “borderization” were recorded.

“Unfortunately, the main topic continues to be the unconditional release of our fellow citizens held in illegal custody; as of today, 12 individuals remain illegally detained. We will also discuss the incidents recorded since the last meeting, by which I mean the illegal, so-called borderization. Additionally, the issue of freedom of movement will be a subject of today's discussion. The Mosabruni crossing point will operate weekly: on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, while the Kardzmani and Perevi crossings will operate on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday”, - said Irakli Antadze, Deputy Director of the Information-Analytical Department of the State Security Service.
