Endless waiting for years, many disappointments, and the last savings paid to purchase an apartment - these are not just stories or reports, but the reality and daily life of thousands of affected families, which started back in the 90s. The ending turned out to be much different. Today, those affected by cooperative housing construction received the keys to a door that many no longer believed existed.

58 families have a new address starting today. The modern complex is located in Didi Dighomi. The residential building was built specifically for the people who had been waiting for years to be provided with housing spaces.

The Mayor of Tbilisi personally handed over the property ownership documents to the affected families.

The municipality continues to implement the program. Appropriate permits have already been issued for 29 projects, and construction work is in an active phase. 12 projects will be completed by the end of the year, which means that another 600 affected individuals will receive their ownership documents.

Over the years, 3,500 families affected by cooperative housing construction failed to receive apartments due to various reasons. Since 2017, however, this number has decreased to 1,000 people.
