Georgia is participating for the first time in the World Artificial Intelligence Conference held in Shanghai. Along with Georgia, an unprecedented number of more than 100 countries are participating in the event. Such a statement made today the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development.

The "World AI Conference and High-Level Meeting on Global AI Governance" ongoing in Shanghai was opened by the President of the People`s Republic of China, Xi Jinping.

As Mariam Kvrivishvili noted, delegations of the participating countries had the opportunity to get acquainted on-site with the significant achievements in the field of artificial intelligence.

"Within the framework of the event, we had the opportunity to learn firsthand about the important achievements that local as well as international companies have directly in the direction of artificial intelligence and how it is being used, including in the local and international economy…

High-ranking officials from various countries and heads of international organizations gathered in Shanghai will participate in the event… During our speech at the session, we will talk about Georgia`s approaches and vision regarding artificial intelligence", - said Mariam Kvrivishvili.
