The Rustavi City Court shared the evidence presented by the prosecutor’s office and found the defendant guilty of the murder that occurred in Dmanisi.

The evidence examined in court established that on October 22, 2025, in Dmanisi, the accused, out of revenge and with the intention of intentionally killing the victim, threw him off the stairs with a blow of his hand, who died on the spot as a result of the injuries he received. After committing the crime, the accused buried the body in the yard of his own house and secretly took possession of his mobile phone.

Law enforcement officers arrested the defendant on November 5, 2025. He was charged under Article 108 (intentional murder) and Part 1 of Article 177 (theft) of the Criminal Code of Georgia.

The Rustavi City Court found the defendant fully guilty of the charges and sentenced him to 14 years in prison.
