According to a study by the European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation “Eurocontrol”, 289 takeoffs and landings were carried out in Georgia on July 12, which is a record figure.
The previous record in Georgia was recorded on August 24, 2025, when 277 takeoffs and landings were performed.
The increase in takeoffs and landings in civil aviation means an increase in the number of flights performed by aircraft, which is directly linked to the correct and consistent policy of the Government of Georgia in terms of civil aviation development.
This data from “Eurocontrol” directly indicates that the number of flights in Georgia is characterized by a growing dynamic.
“Eurocontrol” published information on social media regarding both Georgia and the states included in the European air navigation space in general. The results of the study conducted by the aviation analytical service concerned the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of flights in Europe.
