Georgia is one of the leading countries in the world in terms of implementing reforms and adopting technologies; therefore, participation of the President of Georgia in the UN event carries special significance - Khvtisiashvili

The President of Georgia is in Geneva, where he will deliver a speech at the UN Inaugural Global Dialogue on Artificial Intelligence [AI] Governance.

The purpose of the Global Dialogue is to discuss international cooperation among UN member states, share practices, and hold open, inclusive conversations on the topic of artificial intelligence.

As part of the visit, Mikheil Kavelashvili will meet with the UN Secretary-General, António Guterres.

"At the invitation of the UN Secretary-General, the President of Georgia will participate in the UN high-level event on artificial intelligence governance issues. This event carries special significance because, as you know, AI is increasingly establishing itself in the state governance systems of various countries. Georgia is one of the leading countries in the world in terms of implementing reforms and adopting technologies; therefore, the participation of the President of Georgia in this event carries special significance", - said the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Aleksandre Khvtisiashvili.
