A delegation of the Operative-Technical Agency of the State Security Service of Georgia, led by the Head of the Agency, Beka Mamardashvili, paid an official visit to the United States.

Within the framework of the visit, the delegation members held a meeting with representatives of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). The parties discussed issues regarding the exchange of information on cyber incidents between the agencies and, if necessary, coordinated response. The conversation also touched upon the prospects of deepening cooperation through the implementation of joint initiatives and projects related to cyber resilience.

CISA’s primary function is to protect the US critical infrastructure from cyber incidents and to coordinate the information-sharing process in this direction at both national and international levels.
