The UN General Assembly has adopted a resolution on the status of internally displaced persons and refugees from Georgia’s Abkhazia and Tskhinvali regions by a record 107 votes. Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili is responding to the UN General Assembly`s resolution supporting Georgia on the social platform X.

"The United Nations General Assembly has adopted the resolution on the status of Internally Displaced Persons and refugees from Abkhazia and the Tskhinvali region with a record 107 votes in favour.

We thank all states that stood with Georgia and supported the right of displaced persons to a safe, dignified and unhindered return", - writes Maka Botchorishvili.
