Georgia does not intend to follow the path of Ukraine and Moldova. This is how Shalva Papuashvili, Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, responds to the German Ambassador, Peter Fischer, who stated that official Tbilisi has detached itself from Ukraine and Moldova and has deviated from the common path toward the European Union.

The Chairman of “European Georgia”, Gigi Tsereteli, stated that the steps taken by Georgian Dream contradicted European integration.

“Georgia and its current government, “Georgian Dream”, took steps that contradicted the main principles of European integration, and also the rhetoric it uses against the West; all of this detached it from the group of countries that have a great chance of becoming members of the EU”, - said Gigi Tsereteli.
