Polish MEP Krzysztof Brejza, known for his attacks on Georgian media, demands Saakashvili`s release

Polish MEP Krzysztof Brejza has stated that former president Mikheil Saakashvili is being arrested on trumped-up charges.

"Dozens of km to visit her son in prison. By the way, Saakashvili was imprisoned on fictitious charges related to the fact that he spent money on a wreath for the funeral of the late Lech Kaczyński", - writes Krzysztof Brejza on X.

Besides, as he wrote on the same social platform, Saakashvili`s mother is being targeted.

"Why are they siccing on Saakashvili`s mom? It`s a typically Soviet method, practiced on RossiyaTV and Kurwizja, of tormenting a political opponent. Additionally, in rural areas where Imedi TV reaches, Georgians are constantly fed anti-Western propaganda, with Saakashvili as the main enemy", - adds Krzysztof Brejza.
