Officers of Old Tbilisi Police Main Division of Tbilisi Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested 1 person on charges of theft.

The investigation established that the accused person stole a cash register in order to obtain a large amount of money and fled the scene.

As a result of immediate operational measures and investigative actions carried out by law enforcement officers, the accused person was soon arrested.

The police seized the cash register as evidence.

The investigation is underway under Article 177 of the Criminal Code, which provides for imprisonment for a term of up to 10 years.
