The Ambassador of the European Union to Georgia has been summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Pawel Herczynski arrived at the agency a short while ago. A few days ago, in his statement, the Ambassador presented violence, civil war, and poverty as the alternatives to a European future, stating that it will be decided in the near future whether Georgia belongs to the family of European nations or returns to a dark past.

The ruling party interpreted the Ambassador’s words as an open threat against the country and its population, as well as a clear desire for a change of government.
