External Merchandise Trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to USD 5 862.1 million in January-March 2026, 0.1 percent higher year-on-year, reads the report of GeoStat.

The value of export increased by 23.3 percent reaching USD 1 723.7 million, while the import decreased by 7.2 percent and amounted to USD 4 138.4 million. The trade deficit equaled USD 2 414.7 million and its share in trade turnover constituted 41.2 percent.
