Tbilisi Metro will serve passengers extended hours from today through March 22

Tbilisi Metro will operate extended hours until 02:00 from today through March 22.

"In connection with the passing of the Catholicos-Patriarch of Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II, the operating hours of municipal transport in the capital are being amended. Tbilisi Metro will operate until 2:00 a.m., extending its usual closing time of midnight, from today until March 22.

Starting tomorrow and continuing through March 22, municipal bus and minibus services will also operate with extended hours, allowing passengers to travel across the city until 2 a.m.

On Saturday and Sunday [March 21 – 22], travel on municipal transport throughout the capital will be free of charge", - says the Tbilisi City Hall.
