The President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili, arrived at the Caucasus Medical Center to inquire about the health condition of Ilia II, the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia.

Due to the deterioration of his health, the Catholicos-Patriarch remains in the clinic.

Clergy members and Government officials have also arrived at the Caucasus Medical Center to check on Ilia II`s condition. Additionally, the Minister of Health and the Head of the State Security Service visited the site to stay informed about the Patriarch`s health.

The Patriarch is currently in the critical intensive care unit on an artificial ventilation.
