With Georgia’s backing, trilateral trade and relations between Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan have deepened - Pashinyan

With Georgia’s backing, trilateral trade and relations between Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan have deepened. The Armenian Prime Minister said this at the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Georgia and Armenia.

He thanked his Georgian counterpart for Georgia’s steadfast support of the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and drew attention to the positive trajectory in the development of trade and economic ties between the countries.

“Since the day Armenia gained independence, trains have been arriving from Georgia, and we hope that rail links will drive trade still higher. Your support in this matter is invaluable. With Georgia’s backing, trilateral trade and relations between Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan have deepened.

Peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan is, of course, improving the environment across our region.

We will continue to give our unconditional support to Georgia’s territorial integrity, sovereignty and political independence. The historical relationship between our peoples is one of great warmth and goodwill. That is a fundamental and cherished value”, - said Nikol Pashinyan.
