The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Sulkhan Tamazashvili, held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Georgia, Amit Kumar Mishra.

Within the framework of the meeting, the parties discussed the existing relations between Georgia and the Republic of India, as well as prospects for the further development of bilateral cooperation. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of deepening cooperation in the field of law enforcement and strengthening interagency ties.

The Minister of Internal Affairs also briefed the Ambassador on the Ministry’s activities and key priority areas.

At the end of the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of further developing cooperation and strengthening ties between the relevant authorities of Georgia and the Republic of India.
