The modernisation of the pumping station and the arrangement of its internal infrastructure have been completed in the village of Pirosmani, Dedoplistskaro municipality. The total cost of the two projects implemented in 2026 amounts to GEL 3.4 million. The works aim to improve amelioration infrastructure and enhance the irrigation service quality.

Other amelioration projects are also underway in the municipality. Rehabilitation works are being carried out on the outlet and spillway towers at Dalis Mta reservoir. The project, valued at GEL 3,958,915 envisages the repair of the the damaged section of the dam lining and installation of the electromechanical equipment on the towers. The works will ensure the proper functioning of the infrastructure.

The first phase of the rehabilitation of the distribution network of the pumping irrigation schemes has also commenced in the village of Pirosmani. The estimated cost of the project exceeds GEL 4.4 million. Upon completion of the works, irrigation water supply will be improved on 425 ha of agricultural land area.

In parallel with capital investment projects, operation-maintenance works are underway in the municipality.

Amelioration canals and pipelines have already been cleared, and various types of hydraulic structures have been repaired. “Georgian Amelioration” is gradually implementing rehabilitation and operation-maintenance works on amelioration infrastructure throughout the country, with the aim of ensuring reliable amelioration services for farmers.
