As he noted, the growth of tourism was facilitated by the addition of new direct flights, which the Ministry of Economy is constantly actively working on.

“Our policy is very sound, despite the fact that the challenges were serious, there is a conflict in the Middle East, this has had a serious negative impact, of course, on tourist flows. Despite this, we have such a clearly formulated policy in the direction of tourism, we have so many tools, including tourism promotion, this has yielded its results and despite such large-scale challenges, we had very good growth this year as well. Among other things, this was facilitated by the addition of new direct flights, which the Ministry of Economy is constantly actively working on. If you look at the new flows, these new flows are directly related to new direct flights, this is the result of daily work and I would like to thank the Ministry of Economy and the Tourism Administration for this”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
