In order to upgrade amelioration infrastructure, “Georgian Amelioration” Ltd is actively carrying out various types of works across the country, including in Kvemo Kartli region.

In the village of Kushchu, Marneuli municipality, a spillway structure has been installed on the Tsminda Giorgi headrace canal.

The works performed will facilitate the improvement of water regulation and help irrigate approximately 700 ha of agricultural land.

Operational works have also been completed in Gardabani municipality.

The spillway structure installed on the Vaziani headrace canal will ensure the timely discharge of excess water, thereby facilitating water regulation. The canal serves approximately 650 ha of agricultural land. Improving infrastructure and ensuring the rational use of water resources significantly expand the irrigated land area, which is crucial for the development of agricultural production and increased productivity.
