Georgia to boost direct flights with Uzbekistan to attract more tourists - Mariam Kvrivishvili

We will continue close cooperation with the Uzbek side to have more direct flights, in order to see even more tourists from this country in our country. Such a statement made today the Vice Prime Minister/Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.

Issues of cooperation in the field of tourism between Georgia and Uzbekistan were discussed by representatives of the two countries within the framework of the 11th session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation.

“The conversation touched upon the existing cooperation between the countries directly in the field of tourism. It was noted that tourism plays a massive role in terms of country connectivity and deepening people-to-people relations, and, of course, we will continue close cooperation with the Uzbek side”, - said Mariam Kvrivishvili.
