I am pleased to inform you that from December, the historic Borjomi-Bakuriani railway, our beloved "Kukushka", will return to its route. The Vice Prime Minister/Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development said in her speech at the solemn event dedicated to the Day of Railwaymen.

As she noted, the railway connects people, cities and regions and creates new opportunities for the development of the country.

"The rehabilitation works are nearing completion, and the design of the carriages specially selected for this project blends in with the natural environment and historical character of Bakuriani in a special way. We wanted this to be not just a renovated train, but also the atmosphere and mood that has accompanied this unique route for decades", - said Mariam Kvrivishvili.
