Police detained foreign citizen wanted under the Red Notice of INTERPOL

Officers of the Main Division for Combating Organized Crime of the Central Criminal Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, arrested a citizen of the Republic of Armenia wanted under the Red Notice of INTERPOL as a result of police operations.

The detainee was internationally wanted at the request of Armenian law enforcement authorities on charges of murder committed by a group, hooliganism, and illegal carrying of a firearm.

Following investigative measures, law enforcement officers arrested the wanted individual in Tbilisi.

Extradition proceedings against the detainee are currently in progress in accordance with the acting legislation.
