Capital projects worth over GEL 1.5 million will be implemented in 2026–2027 to develop amelioration infrastructure and ensure the proper functioning of drainage systems in Guria.

In Lanchkhuti Municipality, bridge construction works on the foothill canal of the Rioni left bank drainage area have already been completed, with a total project cost of GEL 547,887.

The construction of a road bridge is also planned on the same canal. The project is valued at GEL 507,092, with completion scheduled for 2027.

Another capital project will be implemented this year in Ozurgeti Municipality, on the drainage system of the Merekdzela–Kaprovani (Shekvetili) drainage area. The project is valued at GEL 485,884.
