A European Commission study published by the World Bank as part of its Worldwide Governance Indicators has ranked Georgia among Europe’s top-10 countries for public trust in Parliament.
The trust ratings were compiled under the EuroMonitor project and are based on large-scale public opinion surveys conducted across nearly 40 European countries.
Georgia’s Parliament achieved a record-high score in the latest assessment, placing the country among Europe’s top 10 for the first time. In the 2024 assessment, Georgia ranked 16th in Europe for public trust in Parliament.
According to the 2025 parliamentary trust index, Georgia ranks ahead of 23 EU and NATO member states, including Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, Italy, France, Spain, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Belgium, Malta, Hungary, North Macedonia, Poland, Albania, Croatia, Romania, Slovakia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Greece, Slovenia.
Eurobarometer is a public opinion survey instrument used by the European Commission, the European Parliament and other EU institutions and agencies to regularly monitor attitudes across Europe on EU-related issues as well as broader political and social topics.
