Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia met Yusuf Tekin, Minister of National Education of the Republic of Türkiye.
The meeting highlighted the close friendship and longstanding successful partnership between Georgia and Türkiye in both the political and economic spheres. The parties discussed opportunities for further deepening educational and cultural ties.
In this context, the parties noted the agreement signed between Georgia and Türkiye aimed at strengthening cooperation in the field of education. It was emphasized that the agreement will contribute to further deepening educational and cultural ties between the two countries, while creating new opportunities for students and education professionals.
The Prime Minister stated that Georgia stands ready to continue its close partnership with Türkiye and support the implementation of mutually beneficial initiatives, including in the field of youth affairs.
The meeting, held at the Government Administration, was attended by Givi Mikanadze, Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia and Levan Zhorzholiani, Head of Government Administration of Georgia.
