As of September 30, of the 121,000 tons of grapes processed in Kakheti, 99.3% is of high and medium quality, and only 0.7% is poor quality and unripe. Grapes of high and medium quality amount to 120,054 tons, while unripe and poor-quality grapes account for 946 tons.

Up to 9,000 winegrowers have successfully harvested and delivered their grape crops in Kakheti.

Harvest intake is under way, at varying levels of activity, in every municipality of Kakheti. The harvest is forecast at around 320,000 tonnes.

To ensure an organised harvest and the sale of the entire crop, the Government of Georgia has decided that, in the event of a surplus, all winegrowers will have an opportunity to sell their grapes. To this end, Harvest Management Company LLC is receiving grapes grown in Kakheti from individuals under the established conditions:

---The price for Saperavi grapes with a sugar content of at least 20% is GEL 1.50 per kilogram; for those with a sugar content of 16% to 20%, GEL 1.00 per kilogram; and for those with a sugar content below 16%, GEL 0.50 per kilogram.
---For Rkatsiteli and other wine grapes, the price is GEL 1.30 per kilogram for grapes with a sugar content of at least 19%; GEL 0.90 per kilogram for those with a sugar content of 16% to 19%; and GEL 0.50 per kilogram for those with a sugar content below 16%.
