Migration Department employees deport 83 foreign citizens from Georgia

Employees of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in coordination with the relevant units of the Ministry, have deported 84 foreign citizens from Georgia in recent days.

The deported persons are citizens of India, Egypt, Turkey, Russia, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Thailand, Lebanon, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Ghana, Jordan, Pakistan, Nigeria, Philippines, China and other countries.

In accordance with the current legislation, the deported persons were banned from entering the country.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to intensively combat illegal migration in the country. According to the latest statistic data, this year alone, more than 3,000 people have already been expelled from their homes by Migration Department employees.
