The presentation of the jubilee album "The Image of Ivane Javakhishvili in Georgian Fine Arts and Poetry", published with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Georgia, was held at Tbilisi State University.

The presentation event of the jubilee album was attended by the Deputy Minister of Culture of Georgia, Natia Shamathava.

The album was published in connection with the 150th birth anniversary of Ivane Javakhishvili. It brings together art pieces dedicated to the great figure preserved in various museums or private collections: oil paintings, graphic works, and sculptures, as well as poems by Georgian poets.

"The album published in connection with Ivane Javakhishvili’s anniversary is special precisely because the image of the scientist and historian is presented in it not only through documentary and scientific material but also through art and poetry. For me, this album is simultaneously a meeting place of history, science, art, and literature. The Ministry of Culture of Georgia attaches special importance to supporting projects that serve the presentation, protection, and passing down to future generations of our country’s cultural and intellectual heritage", - said the Deputy Minister of Culture of Georgia, Natia Shamathava.

The compilers of the album "The Image of Ivane Javakhishvili in Georgian Fine Arts and Poetry" are Irine Abesadze and Zurab Gaiparashvili. With the support of the Ministry of Culture, the book was published by the Tbilisi State University Publishing House.

The event was attended by the Rector of Tbilisi State University, Academician Jaba Samushia; the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, Zviad Gabisonia; representatives of the Ministry of Culture of Georgia, the Culture and Education committees of the Parliament, university academic circles, members of the Tbilisi City Council, and students. The descendants of Ivane Javakhishvili were present as guests of honor.
