A delegation from "Georgian Amelioration," led by the company`s General Director, Gigla Tamazashvili, participated in the 6th international Seminar on Water Culture (the 6th ISWC) held in China.

The international event brought together delegations from various countries, leading specialists in water resources management, and representatives of international organizations.

The main theme of the seminar was "Tracing the Silk Road: Heritage and Innovation of Water Saving Wisdom in Arid Regions" The key areas of discussion included the rational use of water resources, reducing water losses, the introduction of modern technologies, and the sustainable development of the amelioration sector. As part of the visit, Gigla Tamazashvili held meetings with Gao Zhanyi, Honorary President of the Chinese National Committee on Irrigation and Drainage (CNCID), and Wu Wenyong, Secretary-General of the Committee, as well as with representatives of the China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research (IWHR).

During the meetings, the parties emphasized the importance of deepening cooperation, sharing best practices in the field of irrigation and drainage, and the potential for introducing modern technologies and practices in Georgia.
