The employees of the Operative – investigative Department of MIA Border Police detained 4 persons for the facts of illegal, group crossing and illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

As a result of the operative measures and investigative actions of the Border Police Officers, it was determined that the detainees, on the area of the responsibility of the Border Sector “Gorgodzeti” of Batumi Division, avoiding the check point, from the Republic of Türkiye to the direction to Georgia, on foot, implemented illegal, group crossing of the State Border of Georgia. One of the detainees, avoiding the check point, hiding in the truck, implemented illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia from the Republic of Türkiye.

The investigation is ongoing under the Article 344, Part I and Part II, which implies 5 years of the imprisonment.

Immigration procedures were implemented against 1 detainees, as a result of which, he was expelled from the country.
