Employees of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in coordination with the relevant units of the Ministry, have deported 83 foreign citizens from Georgia in recent days.

The deported persons are citizens of Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Russia, Ethiopia, Egypt, Iraq, India, Burundi, Pakistan, Kenya, Bulgaria, Bangladesh, Jordan, Nigeria, Armenia, Uzbekistan, China and other states.

In accordance with the current legislation, the deported persons were banned from entering the country.

According to the current statistics, more than 3,000 people have already been deported from the country by the Migration Department employees, which significantly exceeds the total figure for the previous year.
