The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili held a meeting with the UN Resident Coordinator in Georgia, Didier Trebucq.

The parties highlighted the cooperation between the Government of Georgia and the United Nations. In this context, particular attention was paid to the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework for 2026-2030.

The parties also discussed important issues on the United Nations agenda, including the reform of the Organization being undertaken within the framework of the Secretary-General’s “UN80 Initiative”.

The parties reviewed the high-level United Nations events scheduled for the current year and Georgia’s key priorities in this regard.
