Police seized 57 packages of drugs prepared for sale in Tbilisi - 2 people arrested

Officers of Old Tbilisi Police Main Division of Tbilisi Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested two people on charges of facilitating the illegal sale of a particularly large amount of drugs by a group by prior agreement.

Law enforcement officers arrested the defendants in Tbilisi in the moment of placing drugs prepared for sale in the vicinity of one of the parks.

The police seized 57 packages of the drug “Alpha PVP” from several places as evidence.

The investigation is underway under Article 260-4 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, envisioning up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
