The Head of the State Security Service of Georgia Geka Geladze participated in the Forum on International Counter-Terrorism Cooperation within the 2026 Conference of the Global Public Security Cooperation taking place in China.

Within the framework of the event, 350 representatives from nearly 50 delegations of various countries and international organizations, including 21 heads of security and law enforcement agencies discussed issues such as promoting impartial counterterrorism standards and forging international partnerships. The focus was also placed on strengthening regulation of emerging technologies and upgrading counter-terrorism governance.

Upon completion of the event, an outcome document – “Global Counter-Terrorism Action Plan (2026)” has been adopted.

The Forum on International Counter-Terrorism Cooperation serves as an important platform for international counter-terrorism cooperation and dialogue, which facilitates the sharing of counter-terrorism best practices and advances efforts towards forging a balanced and sustainable international counter-terrorism cooperation system.
